NEUKADUR ProtoRIM—the polyurethane for Prototype and Series Production
NEUKADUR ProtoRIM

NEUKADUR ProtoRIM—the Program for Prototype and Series Production.

Very good degassing qualities, excellent flow characteristics, outstanding impact resistance, and optimum curing: As a special dual-component polyurethane RIM resin, ProtoRIM is well suited to the low-pressure process for producing prototypes through to series manufacturing.

Altropol is also your go-to partner when it comes to dual-component polyurethane RIM resins with very good availability levels, consistently high product quality, and versatile application possibilities. All this is possible for ProtoRIM systems of our NEUKADUR range thanks, in part, to their many positive properties. Not only do the resins have very good degassing qualities, but they also have excellent impact resistance and outstanding flow properties. Even in thin layers, ProtoRIM resins cure very well and are optionally available as either hard or viscoplastic solutions.

A wide array of products are available for you to enjoy in our ProtoRIM Systems product segment. Depending on the version, the resins are either very flexible or dimensionally stable under heat. Moreover, the dual-component polyurethane RIM resins can be tinted as desired thanks to their neutral color. Our ProtoRIM solutions also come in the color black.

The unique product properties of our NEUKADUR ProtoRIM Systems provide a number of special advantages, including:

  • Very good degassing qualities
  • Excellent flow properties
  • In part high dimensional stability under heat
  • Excellent impact resistance
  • Very good curing properties even in thin layers
  • In part very high flexibility
  • Possibility of extending pot life
  • Available in neutral color (and thus individually tintable) or black
